Training Log Archive: Clara

Probably shouldn't have left my o shoes in Freiburg. Kept feeling like I was taking one step forward and sliding 2 backwards. Couldn't make all that much sense of the map; compass always seemed to be pointing in the wrong direction. And it was raining. But other than that a good day. It was a 5 leg relay, teams could be between 2 and 5, but I think most were only 2.

Second leg. Went a bit better than the first. Got all the week's training in Dresden planned out. Monday night run without the run (ie. just food...mmmmm), Tuesday running training, Wednesday sprint o training. Will never have to train again :)

And I score a victory in Aus Champs week :) Considering this was Leipzig city champs or something, I guess that means I am Leipzig city champion or something. 2 sprint races in Clara Zetkin Park in the city centre, the first one had a bit of forest/stinging nettles, the second was just ?fast? running in park. Wasn?t actually going that fast, legs wouldn?t go any quicker though.

Hired a bike from the hostel: 1940 Swiss army bike. Very cool, and the heaviest bike in the world. I thought my bike at home was on the weighty side, but this was pure lead. Could have sold it about 5 times over when I found a flea market. All these old men came over like moths to the flame.

P.S. I bought some asics kayano 13's in Frankfurt whenever I was there. 99,95 Euro: 5-6 nights accommodation.

Got mildly lost in Kassel because I decided I didn't need a map. Eventually found the Orangerie I was looking for.
Going o'ing in Leipzig at the weekend, should be good.
