I wasn't overly excited by the course, should have gone to Bendigo yesterday. Still, was better than the Merri Crk. Wasn't really into it from the start - need to start orienteering when I get the map in future - and stumbled on the first control. It was okay after that, too high on 9 and a bit far right on 13, actually a bit scrappy really. Pretty happy with how I was running, motivated by having others around. Also need to improve reading the map on the run.

Along the CCT past the brewery, then got major quad burn going back along Yarra Blvd. Went around a bit for a while, before going home.

Went around the streets, over to Sydney Rd, up to Moreland Rd and back along the creek. Felt great for the first 8 mins then bad for the rest. Left shin was sore, tight on the outside. Plodded home for the last 27 mins.

15' w/d. Legs were wrecked in the warm down, had to stop to stretch them after 9'.

Hills were between 45 and 48 s, mostly 45/46.
