Riding 1:18:00 [3] 22.2 km (3:31 / km)

50' around a bit and over to Pipe Bridge. Legs were feeling ok, but wasn't going hard.

Then 28' or so afterwards getting back...I thought I could do it quicker than that.

Running 20:00 [3] 3.2 km (6:15 / km)

From Pipe Bridge towards the bats (I think). Legs felt sooooo heavy and energy-less.

Riding warm up/down (spin bike) 26:00 [2]

Really easy 10' before and 16' after intervals.

Gym (elliptical) 30:00 [4] 7.6 km (3:57 / km)

Did intervals on the elliptical trainer. A bit of a warm up, then 4x3' on, 3' off and warm down. Was around or just below 70 strides a min in recoveries, and 80 with more resistance in the efforts, however that translates to the real world. Distance is not real world distance either, I sure as anything can't run that fast!!

15' w/u on the elliptical
~12' w/d on treadmill - wasn't so good, increased speed a bit to see how it felt, but even 5 min/k seemed faster than I would run outside (I guess it is). Tib ants got sore, and left ankle a bit too.

Gym (strength- legs and core) 35:00 [3]

The ante was upped this week and I felt it. Actually, I don't think I was feeling that great anyway. Lunges are an absolute killer!

Note

Was half keen to run the Coburg Bluestone Classic this coming Saturday - 3km track, 3km bike paths and 9km 'challenging cross country' - the last bit sounds good. But I think my legs would complain at the first 2 sections and I don't think I could last the 15km. Maybe next year.

Went to the gym because it was too cold outside. Did 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1 with 1 min recovery after each. Total time for the session was so short, but I still felt like I worked pretty hard and it seemed longer! Left ankle a bit sore going up stairs, want to let it get better so didn't to run on it. Don't actually know what I've done to it, probably rolled it a bit on the weekend.
