Riding 1:05:00 [3] 19.6 km (3:19 / km)

Rode out the side of OTH and Wildflower Drv map with Dave. 35 mins to Beischer Park... 30 mins home. I won the race up Race St (helps to make the finish line up as you go).

Running 10:00 [3]

Went around Beischer Park - the bit they weren't playing soccer on. Left shin was still sore to start but seemed to get a little better. Did 20s on, 20s off for about 5 mins trying to fight boredom.

From home to Keely's. And home again. On MTB.

Rode the juvenile, missing a bit at the start and going out Cahills Rd. Feeling better on the road bike these days...some random rode up beside me and wanted to know if I wanted to upgrade my bike. Still died a bit at about Mandurang Oval. Nice ride trying to avoid the heat with Dave and Jo-Anne.

Gym warm up/down (elliptical) 29:00 [2]

10 mins warm up, 3 mins after each rowing interval and 10 mins warm down.

Gym (rowing machine) 20:00 [3]

Same as last week: 5 min blocks starting at setting of 4, then down by .5 each interval. Was flying in the last one ;-) Sweated up a storm (not a comment on the weather, thunder started before I went).

Best thing about the event was the fact that control 'circles' were in fact love hearts :-)
Other than that, pretty crap. I was running so much worse than last week I was thinking the map must be a different scale, things seemed to take so long to come up.
Shins are getting sore again :-( Pissed off. They're not actually that painful, just annoying, but what about when they get worse? Knees a bit sore too, don't know if it's the increased running, or rowing machine.

7'30 warm up, 7'00 warm down. Did some of those funny running drill things on the way back.

Running intervals (golf course fartlek) 20:00 [3] *

Couldn't get it together today. The 'go faster' switch wasn't working and my legs were feeling really tired
(from Sunday?? They felt tired yesterday too?). Just couldn't get them moving quickly. Shins both gave a bit of a niggle. Ran with a random old Kooyoora map (old 1:15000) with a course on it to look at in the recoveries.
