Running 7:30 [1]

Went for a run with a girl from Marys. Went up to Prinny and walked back. I'll have her up to doing laps before exam time!!

Went for a ride with Dave and my new jersey I got for a bargain at the Herald Sun tour. It has a slight Portugese-sweaty-male-cyclist aroma to it, probably should have washed it before wearing it...
Saw the criterium yesterday, watched the commissaire (or was it the media bike) knock one of the riders off.
Don't think I would have been a contender for the time trial today; went up Yarra Blvd and my legs were burning. Nice ride though :-)

Needed a costume for superheroes turn tonight, so went for a run to Savers. Saved $1.90 tram ticket, so was able to lash out and by a 'superone' t-shirt with light globes in it (doesn't seem to work anymore). Carried it home because I didn't want to risk electrocution from wearing it and sweating into the circuitry.
Very stop-start run at traffic lights, stopping for a stretch after 11mins and browsing at Savers. Distance measured roughly from street directory. 100 times nicer weather today, about 20 degrees :-)
Shins felt a bit sore on the way there, and left calf was quite tight. Shins felt better on the way home.

Note

No training today because it's too damn hot, it was blowing a gale of pollen this morning and I have a hayfever headache and sore eyes, plus I still feel sick when I eat or drink...

Gym (Body Balance) 50:00 [1]

Plan: go for a longer ride
Action: get sunscreened up, go down to bike shed, find flat back tyre (again), go to Body Balance instead because you can't be bothered fixing bike (would involve buying tube and pump that actually works).
Had mega shakey legs in some of the exercises.
Felt a bit sick last night and this arvo/tonight...could it be yesterday's ham sandwich?

Riding intervals 48:00 [4] 15.9 km (3:01 / km)

10min warm up, then did 1min on , 1 off for 21 mins. Legs felt really heavy at the start, and then again at the end when I found some hills near the Comm Games athletes village. 17 min warm down.
Didn't do running intervals today because my shins are still a bit sore from the weekend.
