Running warm up/down 17:00 [3]
11:30 warm up around the Crescent and the bottom bit of Prinny, then to the aths track. Was feeling ok at this stage.
5:30 warm down. This was all I could manage. Legs felt pretty tired and I had to stop and walk in the middle.
Running intervals (300m reps) 5:40 [4] 1.5 km (3:47 / km)
5x300m reps with walking recovery, uni aths track:
69, 68, 69, 68, 66
The first three felt really unco, like an elephant with my legs thumping down, then I thought I took it easier on the 4th to get rid of the elephant, but ended up with the same time... Felt a bit better on the last 2.
Things were a bit sore; the muscles on top of my shins felt tight, especially afterwards, and the bottom of my calves was tight too (could the two be related?) I just noticed my lower back feeling a bit tight between ints 3 and 4 too, not sore, but I think I'll keep an eye on it (as best I can seeing as though it's behind me ;-)
