Rode around uni area on the way to the Queen Vic market for some bananas...only $12/kg. Got another cold, so decided this was enough training for the day.
I really enjoy these spin classes, because I know I could never do a session like that on my own. More hill climbing, time trialling and other painful things this week :-)
I am really unco :-) My arms seemed to always be waving in the opposite direction to everyone else's. Oh well, things can only get better. I think I will be feeling the after effects of 'the boat' tomorrow.
Rode along Merri Crk to Pipe Bridge, around there a bit and back. Fairly easy ride (in theory, except of course I didn't find it that easy.) Nice day, the sun came out just before I left.
Did modified modified Monna fartlek...
1.30min, 1, 1, 45sec, 45, 30, 30, 15, 15, and equal recovery.
First time I'd done intervals running since Easter, so this was a test to see if I can still run fast. I can't!
Just didn't have any speed in my legs.
