Pretty tired so a slow roll up the Moonee Ponds Creek was enough. I do enjoy looking at the massive TV aerials in the creek valley. Lots of people out running and riding.

4 x 5' with 1' off in between. Bit sore. Probably 3 day old tape not as effective as fresh.

Another little jog, but feeling a bit better after the physio had taped me up. Ran 4'30, walked 1' x2. A little bit sore for the first bit, but seemed to improve after walking.

Rolled the legs over up the creek as far as Jukes Rd and back via Gowrie and the Upfield path.

Cooler outside than at home so not a bad choice for the evening, but was feeling very tired.

Achilles isn't feeling better. Is it normal that going to the physio makes things worse?

Despite the fact that I ended up walking every 3rd minute, this felt like hard work.

Lots of faffing around at the start by going to Parkrun to be marshal, then kept going from the Lake up the creek (faffing not included in time).

Merri Creek > Ring Road east > Darebin Creek > Westgarth St > Merri Creek.

About the first time ever I didn't end up lost in Bundoora Park (which is on the opposite side of the creek anyway). Right wrist a bit sore now - too much braking.

Convincingly lost the race with a train through the cemetery. Thought I wasn't going to get out when it was raining in the afternoon, but it ended up being a nice evening.

Evening ride up the creek, Ring Road and back down the Upfield. Nice out along the Ring Road where there aren't people and dogs in the way. Lovely evening.

Was woken up by rain in the night and it felt much cooler when I went outside in the morning, but was apparently still 29.

Very slow and sluggish ride. Reynard St > Moonee Ponds Creek > Capital City Trail > Merri Creek > Harding St. Sun only came out at the end, which was a bonus.

Out at 8 (which wasn't really early enough) for a cruise. The usual Upfield > Ring Road > Merri, with a bit added on towards Jacana and down to CERES at the other end to get a bit more time out. Now to keep cool for the rest of the day :)

Street O - Merri Parklands

Thought I would struggle in the heat but was running better than expected. Spent some time astounding at how high the creek had been judging by rubbish very high up bushes/trees.

Right achilles a bit sore - going to err on the side of caution and give it a break from running.

Picked up a few controls afterwards. Didn't stop to think that other clubs might have heavier and more unwieldy ones than MFR.
