Walking 1:00:00 [3]

Clarendon Way - Winchester (my Grandparents house) to Kings Somborne
6hrs40 21.9km 350m
First a pretty tenous start, heading into Winchester (east) to ultimately go west. We stopped for some pastries then headed onto the water meadows and up to Olivers Battery. Quite cool golf course which would be good for some night O then onto Farley Mount. We were only a couple of km from the start 2 hours in after basically doing a lap of Winchester. Cool lunch stop in a wood carved tree stump. Probably could've cut through the woods a bit more towards Farley Mount CP. Big decisions about whether we would make it back in time for the pizza in Stockbridge, evetually decided it was better to take it steadier and enjoy the walk. Got pizza from Pi instead after collecting the car and visiting my Grandma. Need to at some point do the last leg of the Clarendon relay (Houghton to Farley Mount), done the other 3 legs years ago and that one is the hardest.

Walking 1:00:00 [1]

Clarendon Way - Kings Somborne to Salisbury
7hrs total 27.4km 450m
Didn't know a lot of todays walk (had previously run the relay legs years ago but had little memory of it). Nice start over a hill and down across the Test. Saw Kat and Tom for a chat but unfortunately didn't see the kingfisher. Then up through Broughton to Houghton. Stop in the village for some lunch and to watch the swifts. A open artists studio in Winterslow was good to come across and then made a small error (following the signs and not the map so double backed, probably would've been better to continue). Second half of the week seemed to go on for a long way. We didn't have as much water as we probably needed. The bit through the woods seemed to drag before we came across the remains of Clarendon house. Amazing to think of the activity that would have been here in the middle ages (now just some llamas!) Bit of a slog into Salisbury at the end and back to the car. Our longest day walking in Lockdown.

Common, Sports Centre, Cemetry, Greenways link up with Nicole
Legs felt a little tired after yesterday, especially on the hill up from the traffic lights. Shoes felt a bit of the wrong fit again. May need to see about getting a new pair.

Forest run and catch up with John
From Deerleap over towards Denny campsite, then up to Beauleiu road station and back. A couple of good new paths, one just before the road and one after the campsite. Felt fairly good and unexpectedly better than John. A bit longer than I thought we would do but didn't feel too bad. A little tired on Friday. Always forget how near the forest is, finished work at 4 and was out there by 22 past.

Yoga/Stretching/S&C 50:00 [1]

Had planned on getting out to explore a new area but didn't make good plans and lost the plot a bit
Pretty happy with my yoga skills tonight, more practice of the transition to cobra.
