Newcastle parkrun with Nicole 22:09 actual
Our first run in our new 50 shirts and my 19th tourism. Quite nice open single loop course, could see the entire field at times. Started strong and gradually worked up a bit, progressive pace from 4:30 to 4:10. My left calf has been really tight recently so I hope that settles down a bit.

Hills: 15 mins 9 reps pub hill + WU/WD
Delayed start again and didn't really fancy it. Took time to do my drills and strides then tucked in with Sarah. Felt hard work on the hills, trying to drive and dig in from the bend. Started to fade a bit nearer the end.

Lunchtime Lakes with Shaun
First time running together at lunch since May 2016! My first lunch run for quite a while, need to do them more especially with the dark evening! Nice to catch up. Still unsure of the Hoka's, tight calves and could feel the right ball of my big toe. Felt very sleepy after! Legs satisfyingly tired.
