November Classic Hampton Ridge Black 13th of 36
Southampton's OC biggest event of the year, legs a little tired after the last 24 hours but very happy with my run. A good course by Andy Nash, one of the better courses I have run recently. Got really tired near the end and made a couple of mistakes/just couldn't think! Missed a slightly better line on the first long leg (I went very straight and got stuck in gorse). Near the end I memorized the wrong code and ran to a different control before running back, and to the last control I really struggled to understand what was going on, despite it being relatively straight forward (both fatigue issues). Need to work on my long endurance and slightly more preciser bearings.

Winchester City race - Men's Open 7th of 43
Urban O from Peter Symonds (my old college) then around town before the fireworks. Tough on the hills, ran down one dead end alley by mistake (couldn't see that it was blocked/OOB unless stopped) + some hesitations in the old barracks. Took one long route choice to avoid the high street (slightly further, easier nav and less pedestrian dodging then hesitated near the end). Happy with my run :)

Running warm up/down 12:47 [2] 2.32 km (5:31 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Paradox 4 2018

Running intervals 22:33 [5] 5.12 km (4:24 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Paradox 4 2018

Reps: 4* 700m + 300m (100m) 2:32s and 66s
Skipped the first rep to make sure I was fully warmed up, bit nicer to drop the first rather than when everyone is struggling. Felt pretty good, a bit chilly and couldn't decide what to wear. Left calf a little tight but not as bad as it has been. Felt strong on the 7s and felt able to run through the whole distance. 3s just at the same pace. Faster and more consistent than last night, no major niggles after.

Running warm up/down 8:02 [2] 1.52 km (5:17 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Paradox 4 2018
