Glenariff Forest Park
On the drive back from the causeway coast to Belfast. Down to the river and down some cool steps and walkways with some pretty waterfalls. Then up a really steep forest road, some more gradual kms to settle in then another steep section (with some steps). Really good view across the valley and felt like a proper run. Then the trails headed around the top of the valley, undulating with some more good views. Started to feel a bit tired towards the end.

Portrush parkrun with Nicole
The first thing decided upon for our Northern Ireland itinerary! Barefoot out and back along the beach, before a recovery swim in the sea. Towards the end decided it wasn't the best of ideas to be running barefoot after being concerned about my foot and stress fractures! Fortunately doesn't seem to be any worse after. Bottoms of my feet sore near the end and after. One of the best parkruns I've done and really cool to be in the sea after.
