WIM Furrow Hoppers relay - 1st team
Long A, long B and map memory. Judged the allocation of the team pretty well, did mean Ian didn't get a rest! Bit scrappy, especially on the first loop. A couple of big mistakes, map wasn't great so partly blame that! So hot again, really struggled on the later hills. A token bit of practice before Latvia!

SOC Summer Series Lakeside - 1st
Quite a challenge, looked at the map and had no clue what to do. Decided on odds first, but didn't spot a high pointer near the start. Changed plan to two loops. Ghink the best plan would be to do odds first and switch in the top left of the map. Didnt have any extra gears towards the end of the run, was
trying to push on a bit. Didnt really matter, quite clear anyway (4 mins up on Dan). First orienteering of the year and fun to be out again. Very hot!

Mile of Miles - 6:11 + WU/WD
Very hot, felt dehydrated during the post work volleyball. Legs a bit heavy. Hadn't really been wanting to run this, but supported the early laps and warmed up properly. Got a bit more into it and started comfortably hard. Consistent splits, pretty much spot on. Started to feel it by the last 600m. Fastest I've run this year. Legs achey after and could feel my foot the next morning.

Small run around the local parks
Not run since the RR10. Been concerned about my legs and right foot. Bit of a difficult day and mentally wasn't up to it either. Eventually managed to get out for a run with Nicole. Nice evening, felt heavy even at a slow speed
