Roughly the RR10 loop + a bit more by the river. Both forgot our GPS watches so distance is approximate.
Out supporting the Great South all day, really good fun. Wanted to run but wasn't feeling it immediately beforehand (drizzly rain), fortunately cleared up and was loving it after 100m. I like running in nice places, bit of a view of the water and the sun came out.

Eastleigh parkrun - 1st!
First ever parkrun win/number 1 token! Been a bit worried with niggles this week but wanted to have a bit of a turnover or longer run. Thought storm Brian would put a few people off, but there were a number of familiar faces. Set off in control, found myself in about 5 then built up the hill. A couple of guys ahead were fannying about on the mud so I went into the lead on the downhill. Someone was on my shoulder until the bottom of the 2nd hill (Andy Morgan Lee), definitely was drafting me in the wind. He slipped allowing me a gap, ran scared the rest of the way. Strong finish and took the win by 22s. Happy with that! Small life goal achieved :P

First time attempting Pete's Tuesday session. Should've been two 4s then some 200s. Pushed quite hard, trying to keep in touch and do the usual sports centre in 4mins. Left calf started to feel tight so decided to stop the session there. Think I should've tried to do less, immediately after and Weds my left calf and both hamstrings were very tight. Probably too big a session to attempt first time, especially after a long quick run Sunday (for me) and a hard race on Wednesday.
