Standard round the block. Took it pretty easy and legs felt okay. Calves not so great.

Hampshire X-Country Leage, Popham Airfield, 133rd

First HCXL race and looking forward to it. Course was pretty muddy and slipped a few times. People were advocating spikes so will look into them. Started quite fast near Michael Tanner, second lap saw a guy from work (Peat) and ran with him for a bit. He pushed on a bit but kept him in my sights. Kept trying to push it on the drier sections and hang in there. Felt a bit of a stitch/ill after eating at 11:30 (start at 14:30) but after felt too hungry, not sure how to solve that one. Great race, got covered in mud and happy with my result.
