Long run along the river with the gals. We ended up doing somewhat of a tempo progression, which was nice since we started off so slowly, shaking out from yesterday. Half marathon next Saturday! I'm not ready to race it, but it will be a good fast-ish long run I think.

NIRCA nationals. Our whole team was racing in the junior/senior race since we didn't actually qualify.
It was cold! In the high 20's/low 30's, which was cold, but manageable, and notably warmer than last year. I raced in gloves and ended up taking them off about 3/4 of the way through, but I'm glad I started with them. This was a really fun course to race on as well, with a couple of rolling hills but nothing major, and a very simple loop x2 design. I had an ok race, but I felt as if I wasn't pushing as hard as I could, but mentally I just couldn't get myself there today. Although my HR monitor might disagree with that assessment. Fun race, and fun trip with the team.
