Leg strength & core & ankle strengthening. I think I tweaked my ankle a little yesterday.

Strength 50:00 [3]
slept:6.5 (injured)

Pyramid core, obliques, ankle strength, some tricep stuff, more core. It's been so long since I've regularly done core that I'm pretty sore from the past couple sessions

Stretching 10:00 [1]

stretching and rolling

Strength 30:00 [3]
slept:6.0 (injured)

Pyramid core and various ankle strengthening exercises (alphabet, pointing toes, pulling toes up, standing on one foot, standing on toes, standing on heels...) I can tell that L ankle is definitely feeling much weaker than R one

Stretching 10:00 [1]

Moved my foot a couple times in ways that didn't feel so good. I'm still going to try running tomorrow, but I'm not sure it's going to work out

Other 10:00 [3]

Tried some weird cardio machine before I had to get going

Running warm up/down 7:41 [2] 0.73 mi (10:31 / mi)
slept:8.0 (injured) shoes: Innov-8 X-talon 212

Ankle felt a little ouchie but I decided to start anyways.

Orienteering 6:05 [3] 0.31 mi (19:37 / mi)
1c (injured) shoes: Innov-8 X-talon 212

Racing ended pretty quickly. I was thinking more about my ankle than I was the navigation, and it wasn't feeling good. I decided to turn back just after the first control. Walking back to the finish hurt, while walking around this morning felt okay. So stopping was the right call, but a disappointing one to have to make. It's been a while since I've had real ankle issues, and I know that I'll really have to focus on ankle strengthening over the next month. I'll be taking 2+ days off of running now.
What a bummer of a weekend. I had fun spectating and spending time with teammates and orienteers I don't get to see enough, but racing is what I'm there for :(
