Yay my first XC ski race and I actually wasn't last! I was definitely slow on the uphills and my form was terrible I'm sure but it was a lot of fun.

My last WIOL meet :( It was a good one to end on though. I hadn't orienteered at Fire Mountain before and it was a good venue and the courses were designed well. I had several mistakes, but I was able to push myself physically instead of settling in to a slower pace.

I'm doing an XC skate ski race on Sunday! The term "race" is used loosely. It's just a 5k and I think I may get last. But it should be fun. Went out rollerskiing today to remember how to ski, with my dad and Siri.
