Probably the nicest solo run I've ever done. Hitting up some of my favourite tors on Dartmoor in the sun :)))
The perfect end to my biggest week

Easy - tapering .....

Note

The time has come for me to make my training public and bring everyone up to date. It has been refreshing to be off grid since October, giving me the opportunity truly focus on my own training. Ultimately, my training has been focused on peaking for spring selections (the build up of miles) where the goal was JWOC or/and EYOC. I had small troubles over winter with very minor injury and sickness, but luckily this had little effect on my overall fitness. I raced a few cross country races to gauge my fitness levels but in the end opted out of racing English schools cross country last weekend, avoiding any fatigue in the first taper week. Instead ran Exmouth Parkrun, which resulted in a pretty average time (16:23) which mostly slowed down by the wind. All together, fitness is a lot higher than it was at this time last year.

Still unclear on how the new selection policy will work I guess we'll see...
