Slightly embarrassing, was going fine for the first couple of k but then at the turnaround I was faced with a wall of wind/slow runner paying no attention to what was in front of them. Underestimated what the last three weeks or racing/no speed work has done to my top end speed. Probably won't go for a 5km pb untill after the summer holidays.

Adventure out east. Couldn't find the footpath to the top of one of the hills I planned to run up, this the set in an o style mistake. Lost my head and spent the reset of the run taking wrong turns adding like 3km. My knee is still really bruised and running up/down steep hills I think is making it worse so going to hit some flat miles for a bit.

EYOC recovery - nice to finally have some time off intense training so I can just enjoy getting out. I'm planning to avoid orienteering untill Scottish then take 3 weeks off training completely in Greece before getting back into it in late August and September. Also right knee bruised still
