Probably the one of the most enjoyable training runs I've done. Tops off on some nice muddy, rocky and hilly trails. Felt really comfortable and in control just keeping it nice and gentle after yesterday.

Had a shocking first 5 controls getting nothing right, bad picture to c-1 again to c2. General shit nav to C4 then followed it up with terrible exit direction then not being able to find C5. Got back in control just about to not make anymore major mistakes but just no zero confidence in myself. Will definitely have to get some more sand dune practice in

Swimming (open) (Surfing ) 2:30:00 [2]

Hit up Saunton sands post race which was pretty flat to begin with coz of the low tide. It was pretty boring as only the longboarders could catch the waves but eventually the tide came in and it spiced up. Some pretty nice sets arrived and we had about 3ft waves for 30mins hardly pipeline but a lot better than earlier. Had one big wipe out that bent my back in half then the arms died from all the paddling so called it a day. Much more fun than orienteering.
