Orienteering (FOREST) 51:58 intensity: (1:58 @3) + (35:00 @4) + (15:00 @5) *** 8.67 km (6:00 / km) +367m 4:57 / km

Everything you expect from a Quantock event. The navigation wasn't that hard it was more just picking route choice on long legs. Felt like I was in the red the whole time due to the unrelenting hills and crappy terrain. Croydon Dear Park lived up to its name, hundreds of deer and stags as well as some disgusting uncrossable fences.

Also, ladies and gentlemen we got him. Finally dethroned Ben Chester's, making this my biggest win of my career. Subsequently got revenge on Clive from last year.

Running (TRAIL) 3:13 [1] 0.59 km (5:27 / km) +26m 4:29 / km

Running (TRAIL) 59:26 [3] 9.78 km (6:05 / km) +576m 4:42 / km
ahr:146 max:170

Hilly run along the Jurassic coast in some pretty mad winds. Only had one hour so just tried to get as much hight gain as possible. The strong winds were super sketchy up on the top of the cliffs and the amount of steps absolutely killed the pace.

4× 1.30 min Hill reps 2 min recovery + Wu/wd
Didn't have much time before it got dark but still wanted to get another quality session in this week so only did a couple of hills. Also aware that I don't want to run anymore miles than necessary.

Last time I run around ottery was literally so grim. Ran about 3km off road but just can't handle running in the dark and rain. Feeling good tho just building my training back up but at the same time keeping it chilled.

S & C 20:00 intensity: (10:00 @3) + (5:00 @4) + (5:00 @5)

S and C part of the Oregon Circuits after each 400m.

ahr:164 max:186 shoes: Salming Speed 1

First Track Tuesday in 2 months and straight in with Oregon Circuits in the rain (12* 400m). The running was pretty steady but the S and C tired me out.

L shin back to normal I think.

Running (TRACK) race 1:02 [5] 0.41 km (2:30 / km)
ahr:174 max:187 shoes: Salming Speed 1

400m race at the end of the session. Didn't have spikes so the flooded track was like an ice-rink and I ran a bad time 60.3.

Running (TRACK) (Wd) 4:25 [2] 1.02 km (4:21 / km)
ahr:138 max:148 shoes: Salming Speed 1
