Orienteering (FOREST) (Devon Galoppen ) 1:25:25 [5] 11.1 km (7:42 / km) +438m 6:26 / km
(sick) shoes: Inov8 x-talons 212

So angry with this event. The problems started when i ran to the start only to find out it was no cag no go (it was only drizzling a little) this was printed in size 14 font at the bottom of a small sign. Once i started visibility was poor however the mist was nothing in comparison to the 5ft bracken everywhere. At c5 it all went wrong as i spent way to long searching which was not made any easier by the control less than 30m from it and the bracken that hid the actual control. By now i had given up trying. For the rest of the course i felt ill and angry which made the whole experience enjoyable. In the end spent more time contemplating going back to the car than orienteering.
