Starting to blend back into the O training schedule of my hungarian club Spari, so this is a toned down version of the schedule set for tomorrow. It would be 25x200m but given my transition back & yesterdays shaky start back to speedwork, wanted to start off with caution.
Down at the seafront, out / back sections with wind, and portions of the promenade was sandy so not perfect conditions, but not a big concern.
Felt quite weak initially (low blood sugar?) but that went away after a few intervals. Accordingly (or is it because of lack of such practice?) the first few intervals were weaker quite a bit. Surprising to see the wind effect relatively limited, certainly had to fight against the wind quite a bit, and it is visible from the splits which were against the wind but not as much as it felt.
