Orienteering race 58:19 [4] 4.3 mi (13:34 / mi) +230m 11:38 / mi

I think this was probably my best day of the three. I did 1 and 2 good. I ended up a little high for 3 but just went down a little and found it. 4 and 5 were good. to 6 I probably could have found a faster way, but I went on the trail to the left. 6 to 11 were pretty solid but on 12 I was a bit hesitant for some reason. I found it easily, but I slowed down a lot. After that they were all pretty good. It was really cool in the area with all the cliffs. I think it was a pretty good race, I just need to become faster.

Orienteering race 1:39:10 [5] 6.4 mi (15:30 / mi) +290m 13:35 / mi

I took a while on number 2 because I wasn't use to the terrain and I ended up a little higher than I wanted to be. 2 to 3 I probably could have just gone straight up the hill but I contoured a little on a trail. 3 to 4 was pretty good there wasn't really any way to avoid some green, but I went through a lot of it on a ride. 4 to 5 was probably;y my worst route choice of the day I ended up climbing over a hill and then cutting down to a trail when I could have just cut down to the trail in the first place and avoided all climb. 5-6 I contoured which was actually really easy to do. 6 to 7 was very long and I took the trail to it. After 7 they were all pretty close and easy.

Orienteering race (sprint) 32:55 [3] 3.2 km (10:17 / km) +70m 9:16 / km

I haven't done too many sprints recently, but it was really fun. My only two big mistakes were on numbers 7 and 14. I lost around two minutes on each. Before the race I was really nervous about controls being on the second levels of buildings, but thankfully there was only one and I noticed on my clue sheet so I didn't miss it. There were a few places that I wouldn't say I messed up, but in an attempt to think fast I took the slower route. It was tricky finding the fastest route quickly with all the impassable walls everywhere. So it was a pretty good race, but those two mistakes cost me a lot of time.

Long plane fight. I managed to sleep a bit, but it was uncomfortable. The second plane was much easier to sleep in though
