Biology field trip to St. Francois and Pickle Spring. Spent about an hour at each place. Had to skip Hughes Mtn. because of deteriorating weather. First thunder and ice pellets, then rain, then the heavy snow. Scary run back up Hwy 67; lots of cars in ditches, flares, cops, sliding. Our teacher loved it: Look, we have the whole place (Pickle Spring) to ourselves!
