Great sunny day up at Blackcomb/Whistler with Ben! We started out on Blackcomb and I was impressed with how quickly I got my ski-legs back :D

I used the downhill skiing setting on my watch. I thought it would be more useful. Next time I'll see if I can remember to pause it for each chairlift (teleportation is real!) but my memory is always faulty for things life that. My watch also has both these events happening on Nov. 28 instead of Dec. 3rd so something is amiss.

We took the Peak to Peak across and then had lunch. Woah was it crowded on Whistler! We were going to go up Peak Express but the line was massive so instead, I went down Old Man to Upper Franz's and then to Mid Station and then around for a final lap back down. My legs were certainly feeling it at the end but I was pleased with my skiing and excitement versus trepidation about all the blue runs :D

A fair number of the runs were still closed but it was good snow and really nice to be out in the sun. There were gorgeous views that would have been impossible to fully capture on a phone camera. I spent the whole day grinning and laughing!
