Post Sprint Camp Training put on by Meghan at SFU

Pretending we were using touchless punching and creating our routes with an eye to how that would impact the flow of the next control. Lots of thinking I hadn't really done before. Very Interesting to see how staying high from 9-10 would make the movement from 10-11-12 much smoother.

Bobbled #1 as I tried to see if there was another way down - there wasn't but now I know for sure lol

UBC SI Race 4 - Seeding Set Up

Went well. Some minor hesitations and a wee bit of poor route heading into 10 and then from 10-11 (not helped by the map). Fun course! Getting better at staying focused. Tried to run well / hard.

UBC SI Race 5 - Butterfly Mini Mass Starts (ala SART)

Don't been too excited & channel the focus from the farsta while running harder than this morning! -> Race Goals.

Bobbled out of the hub to 4 (had trouble locating it on my map) and a hesitation leaving 15 to 16 started going R and then switch quickly when I saw the L option.

Happy I got the level control 9 (63) and the oddly situated stairs 13 (68).

Totem Park SI Race 3

Great RACE! Lots of fun and a terrific area to do this in :) Goal was to continue in the same calm focused manner. I wanted to run my own race and not be distracted by others. I think I succeeded in this. Biggest hesitation was from the hub to #1 on part 4 - I was heading in the right direction I just didn't see the sign right away so slowed down. Also tried to read ahead going into the hub control!

How many times do YOU need to fold your map??

Took it lightly as my L knee was quite sore - Did part with Graeme

Memorial West Park - Relay with Graeme!

SO MUCH FUN! Did well for the team :) I ran legs 1 & 3 and kept the good flow going to from the farsta and focused on my own race. Both legs I wobbled coming out of the hub control but attention to detail & what number was next saved me!

So I felt terribly pathetic running this course and I failed to go to two controls.... after bobbling 2 I just somehow skipped 3 & 4... the rest of the course went well haha - only up to go from here!
