Very cool feeling to be out on the women's elite course at such a big event! I was a bit distracted when navigating to the controls in the area but overall I am really happy with my run :D Now to put some more speed in my legs.

I had a really solid race until number 4 to 5 where I botched it rather impressively but I got myself back together and finished solid once more. I was exceptionally happy with my run from 2 to 3 - I navigated it really well!

Warm up to the start of the middle accompanied by Greame who gave me some things to focus on during my race and went over the map sample with me.

Quite pleased with my race. My goal was to remain on point and navigate strongly and leave the "racing" aspect to another time. I feel like minus my initial bobble on number 1 I accomplished this goal keeping my mind focused on the race and not over running my ability to navigate. Great first race of the weekend!

WET at False Creek North - got to the wet late so didn't do a bunch of the controls but still enjoyed my run which was mostly with Rachel :D
