Running warm up/down 35:00 [1]
shoes: Asics GT 2120 T (nov 08)

Really nice out! The left side of my neck has been bothering me the past few days. I think i got it from sleeping akwardly, and it hasnt gone away yet. Not really a big deal, just kinda funny since its hard to do shoulder checks when i'm running and driving etc. :P

Running (sprints) 6:00 [3]
shoes: Asics GT 2120 T (nov 08)

Running tempo (hill circuit) 10:17 [4]
shoes: Asics GT 2120 T (nov 08)

234
236
233
233

I think i was much faster on the last one (~225), but i forgot to lap after the third so i just averaged the 506 that i got for the last 2.

I think it might be easier/faster using poles, instead of plain running.

Skiing 2:00:00 [3]

Last ski of the year probably. Was a really nice spring day. Went from P12 to the fire tower, and it was my first time begin out on those trails. Was extremely tired from the past week (sick +school combo) so i was VERY sluggish at first.

Felt run down and sniffly at school but decided to try for my run + intervals anyways. Had no energy and felt like crap in general so i just ran home after a warm up and a few sprints.

Note
(sick)

Am feeling better today, but couldnt go for an easy run because of an insane amount of school work. Will go for a nice easy run tomorrow. Training has been totally thrown off yet again. Hopefully i can get back into the new running routine again.

GAHHH! I guess that's what a week of no sleep gets you.

Eric was late so I started intervals without him.

3min on, 2min off

Manged to do 2.5 before i met up with him, and then i did 3 more with him. Felt good today, but it was really windy and cold.

Running race 18:46 [5] 5.0 km (3:45 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2120 T (nov 08)

New PB! Not by much though :p Stayed with Eric for the first lap, and then managed to break away from him on the second. Felt pretty good today, and this is a good way to start off the season.

Got an annoying blister on the ball of my foot during the time trial, which i had to struggle home with.

Friday Mar 6, 2009 #

Skiing (skate) 1:30:00 [2] 21.0 km (4:17 / km)

Ski in the gats with Rob. Started at P10 went down ridge and did the fortune race trails. Then went back up ridge and back to the car via burma.

Wednesday Mar 4, 2009 #

Skiing (classic) 1:10:00 [2]

Amazing night time ski with Rob at Nakkertok.

Tuesday Mar 3, 2009 #

Skiing (skate) 30:00 [1]

What was meant to be a short ski, turned into a REALLY short ski.

Trails were mostly glare ice. So i just ended up doing many laps around the track where it was ok. Spent a few minutes sprawled on the ice trying to get across some bad sections

Monday Mar 2, 2009 #

Running 33:00 [2]
shoes: Asics GT 2120 T (nov 08)

Really windy and cold on the way out, nice on the way back.

Note

Ski season is pretty much over. Now I need to find something to keep me motivated to train. Gonna be hard to switch over to mostly by myself training and trying to fit a good plan with school.

Skiing warm up/down (skate) 40:00 [1]

Skiing (ski-o) 52:50 [5] 9.2 km (5:45 / km)

First/last ski-o of the year. The conditions were amazing. I was skiing well but was reading my map almost too much and was hesitating too much. Beat Colin, which is suprising, i could see that he was gaining on me around 1/2 way, but it turns out he made some mistakes in the end.
