really fricken cold. only wore one layer on my legs (spandex) which wasnt really enough, which led me to run much faster than usual for am easy run.

Was going to just go to the gym and track at school, but Jeff invited me to do some snowshoe o-training, which sounded much more fun! Was slow going since the snow was very deep and wet. Was really nice to get out in the woods though.

nice easy run with my uncle down the canal. Jaw is still feeling sore, but it's much better than it was. Should be able to race on boxing day.

Did 3 repeats around a made up short ski sprint loop. I guess after the big melt yesterday, they groomed the trails, and now that everythings frozen over again, the ski trails are nicely groomed but rock hard and bumpy. So it's impossible to ski on but pretty good (a bit slippery and bumpy) to run on. So i did a owrkout that i will probably be doing on skis in a day or two. Did ~double the time in rest (4min).

Probably the coldest ski of my life. Apparently it was -27 when we first got there. It was too cold to do intervals, but we did short sprints and strength. Was very slow going and all i was thinking was that I wanted to turn around and go home to bed :P

feeling a bit better today. Will maybe go for a short run tomorrow. These past 2 weeks have really really sucked. With my wisdom teeth coming out in about a week means that my hours for this month will probably be the lowest in 2 years...Am getting very antsy.

After not being sick all fall (very rare for me), it finally happened. Probably from not getting much sleep from studying. As a positive, I dont have much time for training these days anyways, so i guess this is an OK time to get sick if there is one.

early practice, blizzard like on the way up. So there was 2 inches of light powder over top of hard fast snow. Skis seemed really slow during intervals.

now i get to study for 2 whole days!!!

Started down the path along the river but it was slippery and i got some random pain in my groin, probably from slipping a lot. So i started to jog back slowly and it felt a bit better. Ended up doing 15min of sprints up the hill where it wasnt so slippery.
