pretty good intervals today, although my skis were slow and were icing up. MY back sorta hurt too but that'll probably go away as the season go's on.

holy crap, the craziest games of soccer ive ever played. Playoffs....The first game was against a weak team but we played badly and we squeeked by 3-2. then the second game we played this super intense team, that was really dirty. They were beating us 3-1 then 4-2 and we came back to tie it 4-4. I set up one or two goals but i didnt score. Then with like 30s left i was on defence and it got crazy in our end, so much pushing and shoving. The ball started to bounce and i accidently hit it with my arm. Luckily my back was turned to the ref or else it would have been a penalty for sure. The other team was swearing and yelling at the ref and running on the field. So i just started yelling back in defence even tho it was obviously a hand ball, and fortunatly nothing was called. Went into overtime, again on defence, and i really had to be solid, and match their pushing with more pushing. They hit the post, then the crossbar, the we cleared the ball and kent went down and headed it in for the win. SO PUMPED! We were so lucky but now were going to the FINALS!!!

Orienteering race 1:00:00 [2]

Started out really bad blowing the first control. Then when i got to the second control i realised i lost my si. I spent several minutes looking for it in the leaves and was contemplating just quitting because i had to be back early anyways to help with the computer. I decided to keep going, i caught back up to bill and jeff, but then missed 4 because i was on another cliff 5m from the control and didnt think jeff and bill had found it either. Caught back up to jeff again and passed him at 8. Lost another two minutes on 13. So im not sure about my time, but 1 hr seems like a pretty good estimate.

Orienteering race 3:42:00 [3] 25.0 km (8:53 / km) +900m 7:32 / km

Awesome race! Navigated well the whole race, except for a few bobbles, but we were able to pick up on each others mistakes well. I was running well the whole race, never really feeling too tired, it was just the leg cramps by the end that were killing me. Randy set an awesome pace the whole race, never would have thought to go out that hard myself without dying by the end but we held out. With the end in sight, i could forget about the legs and i felt awesome for the last km. Great effort by Emily and Randy as usual, and i hope to do it again next year.
