Got a stomach cramp (blaming it on the indian food i had for lunch) by the third and fourth. Saved some energy on the first two so i could finish strong on the last two, but the cramp kinda ruined that idea. At least I was able to fight through it a bit on the last one. I think i can get all under 325 on a better day.

Went to pick something up off the floor this morning and my back/hip seized up really bad. Has been hurting all day, so will take a bath tonight and see if i'm good for tomorrow.

Good race but probably could have been much better. Was seeded really far back in 37th so i had to make some pretty crazy moves to be able to get up with a pack i wanted to ski with. I ended up losing too much energy due to this and not having quite enough on the 2nd lap to be where i wanted to end up. Ended up 21st (wanted to be top 20 :( ), but the pack that i was with on the first lap placed 11-20th with all of them less than 2min in front of me...

Congrats to Colin who came 2nd in the skate and came 1st today. Carleton as a team placed second behind Lakehead.

Didn't go for a ski in the park cause i'm still feeling a bit rundown so just went for an easy run instead. Really nice day out!

Ski practice, did a sprint relay, which sounded like it would be fun, but i wasnt feeling too good during. Feeling run down today, probably after the horrible week of school.

Colin wanted to just ski for 10 more minutes after practice when we were thinking of heading back, we agreed. Because of the flash freeze, there was a layer of ice on top of all the snow, so we were able to ski just about anywhere. So the 10min ski ended up into quite the excursion. We went out onto a swamp/lake and followed a creek until we couldnt get through any farther. Then we found some old trail that we figured went out to the road, so we followed it. Then we decided to skirt around the road in the forest until we hit the ski run. Climbed virtually to the top of Fortune, and then nervously skied down. Then we got kicked off the hill, and went home. Probably the most fun ski this year.

Finally done all my midterms. Gonna be a lot of work during reading week to catch up on assignments and labs though.

Got selected to go to the Ontario University Championships next weekend as the 7th of 8 guys. I'm excited!

Forgot to bring a change of socks for after. So instead of having to wear smelly socks the rest of the day i decided to just run without socks. It wasn't too bad, except i got one bad hot spot during intervals.
