PAN vĂ¥ren natt masstart

Was looking forward to this, but was miserable all afternoon and didn't have the most positive mindset at the start. It kinda worked out being angry though, needing to push off people trying to cut the queues at controls and such.

A lot of the course was in the open and it was super foggy out so the pack kept making mistakes. Was really hard to keep the direction and spot the reflexes. They then took us into some really shitty thorny green stuff. Fast and flat with a lot of trails though which suits me perfectly.

Found myself in the lead group going into #10, the worst bingo control I've seen in a while. We all floundered around on it for a minute and got caught back up by the peloton.

Could feel the Mcdonalds dinner 10min in which slowed me down. Got on my own for the second butterfly though and ran cleanly so was back with the lead after that.

Was hanging off the back up to the last butterfly where I was on my own again. Ran cleanly here too and had a feeling I was in good position on the way out.

Half way through the long leg to 27 I suddenly felt my right hamstring seize up. Tried to ignore it at first but had to stop completely a few hundred meters later.

FAAAAN!
It turns out I was sitting in third with the guys who finished 1 and 2 just ahead of me. There was only 1km and 4 controls left...

So mad. And now I can't run the rest of the weekend...
