A light jog/walk to and from today. Lacked some enthusiasm after a trying day.

Decided to have a lazy day although did get in the garden for a few hours, the highlight had to be discovering showtime was having one of those free viewing weeks on fox so saw S6 E1 of GoT. Still struggling with the disconnect between books and tv series - I mean who would have thought Cersei and Tyrion?

spiked:20/22c shoes: New Balance Trail

1:15,000 map. Longest race I've done, covered 15.5kms. Had a big enough miss on 1 that cost me 5 mins, and another 3mins to 20. Otherwise I was just too slow as was concerned about making mistakes especially when i tired - which i didn't.
Again the map, course and terrain were fantastic!

spiked:14/17c shoes: New Balance Trail

Covered 6kms exactly so could have been more efficient but too low on 1, knew 3 was misplaced so that didn't cost, too low on 11, missed 15 by metres and didn't see it. Otherwise didn't run hard enough. Lost time around 4.5 mins.
Loved the course and the map and terrain.
Oh - did anyone else find the irony in the wrongly placed control being 420? Imagine the puns / memes if it had been higher up the gully.

Short ride both ways. Arvo was after umpire training session.

Did a light run to start then some interval stuff. At least a few of them are starting to run a bit harder - now if only I get them to start umpiring better..
