Geez it was hot and humid this morn.

The temperature dropped back to a more pleasant 27C but the humidity was stiffling after morning storms with more on the way left the air so thick and heavy it felt like I was running on a planet with different gravity. Managed to punch out an ok run, and thankfully collapsed into the pool when I made it home.

James had footy training down at Grange so i went for a run along the waterfront. It was hot. Water was excellent after. Felt pretty shattered regardless and was out of legs by the end.

Orienteering Training (Nth Adel Perm Course) 49:12 [4] 9.43 km (5:13 / km)

Decided to take the permanent course for Nth Adel and run it from home. Gave me a chance to go the controls I didn't get to the other day and confirm all that is missing the control on the log near Glover Playground and the one in the construction zone outside the oval. Fun way to go for a reasonable run.

Put out some sprint training courses for Emily and Meri (and Wendy). Getting very familar with the map!

Tagged Emily first around the 1.7km course. She ran just under 13mins and covered 2.03kms. Then tagged Meri on same course who did just under 12mins and covered exactly same distance.
Route courses were excellent, control flow pretty good. Just need to run more direct lines and run harder when they confident of route choice. Emily a bit slower as hesitated at start for a while.
Wendy did well!
