Couldn't get into it today. Blister was causing problems so couldn't stretch out at all, especially on the downhills. Felt I was ok in the warm up but once I started running on longish leg from #2 to #3 knew I hadn't recovered from Marathon.

Caught Peter Hobbs at #1 and ran together till #7 but I really got lost on #8. Ended up being way to far North. It took me 6-7 minutes to relocate and from there I lost a load of motivation as I was at the back end of the starters and out on my own. The next hour consisted of long legs and considered pulling out due to the blister but persevered to #15 where it got fun in the gold mining terrain and actually did pretty well for the last 13 tricky controls. It was damn hard to read on 1:15,000 though. Finished way down.
