Run long (Watsons Bay to Manly) 5:07:00 [3] 47.0 km (6:32 / km)
ahr:144 max:174 shoes: Asics Kayano 15

Started by catching a ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay with Mounty where we met Keith. We then ran from The Gap along the harbour coast line to Harry's at Woolloomoolloo for a pie and to meet Prong. We all then ran around Mrs Macquarie's Chair, Opera House and across Harbour Bridge where Keith left us. From there Cremorne Point, around Bradleys Head, Chowder Bay and Balmoral Beach for an Icey Pole and a drink. We were all really tiring now from the heat and stopped for another Icey Pole at Clontarf Beach before struggling home to Manly Wharf. Mounty and I then stayed in the Bavarian Bier Cafe for over 2 hrs with some nice cold beers. Run was about 10km longer and 10 degrees hotter than anticipated.

Cycle (Commute) 31:00 [3]
ahr:122 max:159

Ride from Crows Nest to World Square. Had a stack on Kent St cycle path when a woman crossed without looking walking right out in front of me. I see people almost get collected nearly every day on the path, unfortunately I fell off on this occasion. I reckon it's safer riding on the road.
6 PM

Cycle long 2:14:00 [3]
ahr:140 max:188

Solid ride with Shane, PG and Flavel from Brooklyn up the Old Pacific Highway to Hornsby and back along the Pacific Highway to Crows Nest. Heavy rain in patches made it a wet one.

Orienteering race (Sydney Summer Series) 46:05 [5] ***
ahr:179 max:192 spiked:29/30c shoes: Brooks Trance 8

Felt fairly good, ankle a little sore. Got all controls in 46.05 for 580 losing time on no.6 when I could have cut the corner through the bush plus ankle still a little tentative on rough trails. Equal top score with Steve Ryan and Richard Green.

Run warm up/down 30:00 [3]
