Good bush course around Lake Parramatta. Legs feeling very tired from a heavy last few days of training. Lost time on consecutive controls #6 and #23, first ran too far then too short on the next (1 min total). Got all controls in 39.45.

Short, fast course at Olympic Park. Still not feeling fresh but couldn't have done much better on the night for the route I ran. Lost maybe 10 secs getting stuck behind a garden and having to retreat. Looks like I ran 400m longer than the optimum course too which could have saved up to 2 min.

Steve absolutely smashed it in 34.37, Richard Green-35, Richard Morris-37.

Finally a decent run on this course. Felt pretty good from the start to the end to finish 4th overall and a new PB.

Started off in about 20th spot off the line and passed 10 of those going up the hill in the first few minutes. Going down Burning Palms sat behind a group of 3 sitting comfortably. Then coming out of Burning Palms going down a long straight boardwalk, had a massive fall not seeing one solitary step. Banged up both my knees (left one much worse), my hip, thumb and hand. Took me a little while to recover from the initial shock and had to jog off the soreness. Once I recovered, caught up the 3 I was just behind and got away from them on the climb just before Garie Beach. The next 20km was on my own, couldn’t see anyone in front or behind which was good so I could run my own race. It was getting pretty hot in the second half but the Macca’s cup down my shorts worked a treat pulling it out at each drink station. Was a bit worried about having limited water in the heat. but turned out OK. Coming out at the final beach I could see one runner. I knew no-one had passed me but wasn’t sure how far ahead he had started in front of me so I was trying to hammer catching him up. But he was putting in the same effort and I finished 20 secs behind him but it turned out started 30 secs behind him so net gain for me :) 

Good course including a lot of bush trails. Felt good too which is promising for Saturday. Wasn't planning to get them all but got round faster than expected so added a small loop getting 17-16 near the finish. Got all controls in 46.46, a few secs ahead of Steve R in 46.52.

Got a cold Again! Otherwise no misses. Nice little Sprint section to start with then a hard slog around the hilly streets of Lavender Bay and over to Waverton. Got all controls to finish 2nd a couple minutes back on Steve.
