I'm happy about the way I ran. My speed was up with everyone else. It was just my bobble at points 11 and 22 that really affected my time. Only my second sprint ever so I think it was alright. I just need more training on sprint courses.

Stoked for Sprint Champs! Since I knew the area well I was practicing my ability to punch the point and take off, also, folding my map correctly for the next few points while running to a point.

I used my friends new watch that does heart rate and they didn't believe me that my heart rate was lower than any of theirs'. I proved them wrong.

I felt absolutely amazing. By far my best day ever. I took my time on the road crossing points so my real time is 45:30. I just can't believe how far I've come just to win the national championship finally, being down two points the first day gave me a lot of encouragement to run my hardest and never stop. I'm so grateful for my team and I hope they go on to win next year and continue a FUMA reign for years to come. Hopefully this meet will give me confidence going to team trials next weekend.

Messed up on 1 and 2. The rest of the course went fine, I was just being very cautious because I didn't want to lose anymore time.
