AAR day. We discussed the weekend as a whole. Major takeaway for my section was ensure that Sam is tracking people pickin up vans.

Orienteering race (Sprint) 25:00 [3] 5.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:7.0

What a great time! The sprint was a blast for all of us. I made two technical errors, but really enjoyed sprinting from point to point. I feel my map reading ability is improving (or maybe this course was just super easy).

Wow, the hardest Orienteering race I have ever run. I ran for 3 hours (12+ miles) and was only half way done. The biggest issue was maintaining map contact. On one long point, I completely lost contact, and, while knowing generally where I was, was unable to figure out exactly. I think I need to work on SOFA. Myself and Jake Walters (aqualad) met up again at point 12 and decided it was time to call it. I received my first DNF for an official meet.

Orienteering race (Middle) 1:40:00 [3] 4.5 mi (22:13 / mi)

Note
slept:5.0

An interesting race, myself and Jake Walters ran side by side for over half of it. I do not think I have every made so many small errors. I was quite sloppy. The course was not even overly difficult. I needed to slow down a little bit in order to succeed on this course.
