Got to the car park 6.30 after dropping Louis at the airport to go to World Schools in Italy . I did the same run 2 years ago after sending Jura off to Turkey . Always feel pretty emotional last time as it was first international solo trip and this time as Louis battles with injury have made getting to today v stressful . Amazing beautiful run in early morning sun and the mountain to myself till the last 15 minutes of descent .

Horrid Holmbush .
Really didn't like the area . Got upset with all the paths
Especially towards the end . What is this park orienteering ?
Didn't manage to look at Orange map till next day but there was one leg definitely a bit dodgey , luckily 2nd Year orange so she managed in the end .

I could make no sense of this area with the map . Once I worked out that it was easier to ignore the terrain and run on a bearing it was much easier but it only felt like half orienteering and pretty dissatisfying to say the least .
