ORIENTEERING race 58:59 [5] 6.24 km (9:27 / km) +150m 8:26 / km

Did sol 6 at dunalister. The race was ok and my running was better than yesterday's as my asthma wasn't too bad. Megan caught up with me at number two as she had only started two minutes after me and I was with her for a bit but we took completely different route choices to #5 and 6. Even after that we were still together. I lost her at the crossing point to number 9 but still managed to do the course fine, even with the distraction of her.

ORIENTEERING race 51:34 [5] 7.12 km (7:15 / km) +220m 6:16 / km

Did sol 5. It went ok but my asthma was playing up so I found it quite hard to run. Only 12 minutes behind Grace!!!
The first bit of the course was quite hard to run on as it was heathery and then the second but was faster

RUNNING 32:16 [4] 5.56 km (5:48 / km)

Ran along the canal. I was coughing up some stuff and I also got a stitch towards the end. Looking forward to the weekend

ORIENTEERING race 1:16:43 [5] 7.1 km (10:48 / km)

Did the Jamie Stevenson. Had a cold so couldn't actually breath. Got to no. 4 (on the other side of the map from the assembly finish area) and felt terrible. I completed the rest of the course but was at least double the winners time. My knee was also very sore on the way round.

RUNNING 21:34 [4] 3.77 km (5:43 / km)

Went for a try out run to see if my knee was ok for running on tomorrow. It was really good so I did it quite fast

orienteering training 20:00 [5] 2.6 km (7:42 / km)

Did the warm up for the second day of scotjos training and then we were concentrating on short rest middle distance legs. I managed to do the first butterfly loop of the course and as I was coming back into the middle control, I fell onto a rock and cut my knee. It was really sore so I sat out for the rest of the day. It is sore when I bend my knee

orienteering training 1:15:00 [5] 7.0 km (10:43 / km)

Did scotjos training warm up for 15 minutes and then we did some long legs training. The training was good as there was some serious planning that you had to do for the legs but I found my way around most of them. It was raining soooooooo heavily and we were all really really wet at the end

ORIENTEERING race 20:36 [5] 3.4 km (6:04 / km)

Did the Scottish schools and came second behind Grace. It was good but I just wasn't going fast enough cause it was just a sprint

Thursday Jun 4, 2015 #

6 PM

Swimming 1:00:00 [5] 1.5 km (40:00 / km)

Did some technique training for butterfly and then some butterfly sprints. My fly was getting a lot better

Note
(injured)

I've been having a really sore knee every time I run on a road and sometimes on the hills. Didn't go for a run as it was hurting whilst I was walking all day today and I think it would be very sore if I ran on it. Swimming tomorrow should be nice and then the Scottish schools on Friday. I have some strapping so hopefully it will be ok

RUNNING 27:49 [3] 3.94 km (7:04 / km)

Went for an easy run over the glen and back along the road. It was chucking it down and really really windy so it wasn't much fun
