Fun run, nice course.
A bit of a slog up the hills as legs were pretty tired from yesterday and it was super hot out. No problems with nav, especially as most controls you could see from yonks away. Think for the long leg though, I should've gone a bit wider to avoid some climb. Was running the last bit with Meredith which was good to keep me pushing right to the end.
Fun weekend.

Should've made this longer but was already pretty late starting. First few controls were still waking up the legs a bit.

Fun sprint in a cool area.
I need to read ahead more when I can. I lost time at the map flip control because I hadn't sorted myself out before getting there.
Tried to push, but my legs were feeling pretty heavy (probably from standing all morning doing starts) and also breathing wasn't great.
Enjoyed this though!

Originally wanted to get all the controls so was pushing quite hard at the start and trying to keep up with Mark, but soon realised that it wasn't going to be possible because my legs just would not take it. Think I left out 3 of them. Lost time on one of them because I got confused by my compass and didn't see one of the vague gullies in the open so went and got an extra control in the gully next to it. Lucky I was checking numbers!
Cool area though, super fast running with very little veg underfoot but good vague stuff for compass practise.
Fun though, and hopefully my legs won't be too dead tomorrow so I can make the most of how fast the terrain is.

Easy 30 with 10 x 1min in the middle.
Tried to keep light and a high cadence with higher knees during the efforts and downhill. Was semi successful but needs work.

Easy 6km pre breakky. Woke up late so was quite warm out. Didn't push too hard as I can feel myself maybe starting to get a bit sick and don't want to make it worse.
