I did a lot of prep for this, looking at RG from 2014 and working out all the levels. I think this worked as the race seemed pretty straightforward - still managed to make a few mistakes though.

Missed the alleyway to 2 as I hadn't pre planned, but there were loads of extra roadworks on the way to 1 so I think it was right to be concentrating on those. 7 wasn't on the right feature and unfortunately the right feature was multicoloured, so did a lap of it before spotting the control.

Despite all the homework, incorrectly identified the level of 8 and so ended up in a car park, didn't lose a lot of time though.bad route down from 9; too many stairs.didn't take the route I wanted to 10 since didn't want to wait for the traffic, and actually this helped get the right side of 11 although did hesitate a lot.map before 16 is dodgy as looks like you can bypass stairs when you can't.

Correctly identified where 22 was but didn't get the entry route right and had to backtrack; then also missed the best exit! 23 route in was very good and identified 24 on the right level, but missed an easy route down to street and ended up on the same slow stairs I'd used to 10.

Then did the rest of the barbican legs well except explored the wrong garden on 28.

Just noticed this map has no north lines - I approve.

Probably lost 3 mins in mistakes on total which isn't too bad for this area; miles behind Jack though, I only beat him on one split.good fun area as always.
