4th/39, although waay behind Tom and Kit, would have been 5 mins down even with no mistakes!

------

Far more navigationally and physically challenging than the JK...

Annoying miss on 4, was within a few metres but happened not to glance to my left and then went right...60s.could've been avoided by reading the features on the edge of the circle better.
Same issue on number 5, didn't see the crags on the edge of the circle, another 60s.
Very lucky on 8.
Climbed too steeply on 11, ended up at crossing point way too high but didn't realise until came out at the very top of the hill; then very steep to climb down!3 mins lost I reckon.should've seen that the better AP was from below and went for the lowest crossing point.
Tried to contour on 15 and was going pretty well but was slightly too high and then distracted by ground shapes even higher.should've seen these on the map rather than assuming the map didn't include them - 60s.

So lost at least 6 mins which is more than at the entire JK! Disappointing, but it was definitely tricky today.

My knee was ok most of the way around but hurting a lot at the finish. Going to have to skip Offa's Orror and decide what to do about GL3D :( :(
