Bought a Christmas tree (!), then a surprisingly enjoyable clockwise loop of Burncrooks Reservoir from Edenmill with Alice on a very misty, damp and slightly chilly Sunday afternoon. Dark by the end. A good workout.

Victoria parkrun #335. Hard effort on a chilly and misty morning. Caught by the 24 minute pacer on the final lap, but luckily he was slightly ahead of schedule. A tough workout! Official result 88/266 in 23:58.

Orienteering race 35:32 [4] 4.46 km (7:58 / km) +12m 7:52 / km

FVO Local Event Fallin, Blue Course (4.2 km, 88 m) in 38:53 (official). A physically tough but surprisingly enjoyable workout on a chilly and misty Saturday lunchtime. Two laps of the area without any significant navigational mistakes. Started my watch on the way to number 2.

CLYDE Terrain Run with Dave and Alice on a dark but mild evening. A (partially) new route straight up the crags from Overtoun House then all the way along the top of the crags to Black Linn Reservoir and Doughnot Hill before a long sweeping (mostly) downhill back to the House. Heavy legs on the climb and definitely the slowest of the three, but an excellent workout.

Garscube Interval Session. Warm up, then a tough 8 x (3 mins fast + 2 mins slow) interval session around the 1 km loop next to The Switchback, and then a short warm down.

Usual loop through Milngavie to Torrence and back via Baldernock and Mugdock Village as the light began to fade ended abruptly when I punctured for the first time on my "new" bike on the main road out of Milngavie and had to walk the (thankfully short) rest of the way home.
