Mixed Terrain Run 58:22 [3] 9.77 km (5:58 / km) +158m 5:32 / km

Burncrooks Reservoir anti-clockwise from Edenmill. Damp and still slightly icy on the main tracks in places, but turned into a very pleasant day when the rain cleared. Pushing harder in places than I have done for quite a long time.

The Slacks with Emma and Alice. Damp at the bottom, ice and slush at the top.

Note
(rest day)

A rotten day, a busy schedule, and a few low-level aches and pains were the perfect excuse for a rest day.

Terrain Run 1:02:02 [3] 9.02 km (6:52 / km) +80m 6:35 / km
ahr:163 max:184

Snowy Mugdock trails failing to keep up with Emma: I lost contact with her twice. Real "Winter Wonderland" conditions in places, but entirely snow-free forest floor in others.

Cycling 1:11:04 [3] 23.97 km (2:58 / km) +206m 2:51 / km

First cycle ride since 28th December. Up to Mugdock Village then to Torrence via Baldernock and back through Milngavie. Cold hands despite new cycling gloves and tentative due to occasional icy patches. Less fun than I was hoping it would be.

Terrain Run 52:49 [3] 7.56 km (6:59 / km) +145m 6:23 / km

Muddy Mugdock trails trying to keep up with Emma and Alice. Damp, but all of the ice and snow has disappeared.
