Trail Run 20:00 [1]

Jog to start. Didn't get lost this time.
11 AM

Orienteering race 2:18:08 [3] 7.2 km (19:11 / km) +395m 15:03 / km

Lakes Reloaded Long, Graythwaite, Women's Course (7.2 km, 395 m) in 138:08 (official). Slow and solid with wobbles at 6 and 7, a big miss at the second visit to the butterly loop control 8 (which was also control 4 and 12) when I went to the Men's control (on a near identical feature with a near identical code) and then spent 7 minutes before coming back to the nearby Women's control, and 18 (when Thomas caught me and we were both too low). A physically tough workout on a gloriously sunny Sunday.

Terrain Run 45:00 [1]

Getting very lost on the way to the start in the rain (I wasn't the only one to do this!).
12 PM

Orienteering race 1:07:25 [4] 5.0 km (13:29 / km) +195m 11:17 / km

Lakes Reloaded Middle, Rusland Beeches, Men's Course (5.0 km, 195 m) in 67:25. Physically tough and technical race on a steep and rocky area. Small misses at 12, 15 and 21 but otherwise fairly navigationally solid (if rather slow) on a rainy day. Great to be out "racing" at a proper orienteering event again.

Resting up ahead of a big weekend.

5 PM

Cycling 1:56:28 [3] 38.4 km (3:02 / km) +425m 2:52 / km

Bearsden to Milngavie to Strathblane to Killearn and back via Mugdock starting in bright sunshine but pretty cold and tired by the end. Stopped briefly for a (socially-distanced) chat with Val and Mark in Blanefield.

Terrain Run 55:23 [3] 7.87 km (7:02 / km) +143m 6:27 / km

Not-the-CLYDE-run: anticlockwise loop of Mugdock mountain bike trails north of the road with Dave and Ian. Very slippery underfoot after the recent rain, so road shoes were a spectacularly poor choice of footwear.

6 PM

Cycling 1:06:29 [3] 24.0 km (2:46 / km) +212m 2:39 / km

Bearsden to Torrence then Baldernock, Mugdock and Milngavie in the gathering gloom.

Note

Two easy Munros in the mist at Glenshee with R and T.
6 PM

Repeat of Friday's loop in the gathering gloom.
