30 minutes to the start and 20 minutes back down from the finish.

Orienteering race 49:14 [5] 4.9 km (10:03 / km) +250m 8:00 / km

LOC Weekend Day 2, Middle Distance, Stickle Pike, Brown (4.9 km, 250 m) in 49:14 (-1:45). Much better and more focused run on another sunny lunchtime. Some small wobbles and one small mistake (-1:40) at 12 when I went between the wrong rocky knolls. Just ahead of Alice (51:05). Impressed/depressed by how fast winner Quentin Harding (40:01) went past me on an easy (running) leg.

Trail Race race 25:42 [3] 5.0 km (5:08 / km)

Carlisle parkrun #327 at gentle pace in 25:42. Three inoffensive laps of an inoffensive park half way between Glasgow and the Lake District.
12 PM

Walk 35:00 [2]

15 minutes part way uphill to the start (I got a lift the rest of the way!) and 20 minutes back down from the finish.

Orienteering race 1:21:08 [4] 6.5 km (12:29 / km) +500m 9:01 / km

LOC Weekend Day 1, Long Distance, Caw, Short Brown (6.5 km, 500 m) in 81:08 (-6:40). Below par run on a very steep and runnable open area on a sunny afternoon, with a big miss on the round-the-hill leg 3-4 (-5:00?). Felt very slow and heavy on the climbs (of which there were many).

Road Race race 46:31 [5] 10.0 km (4:39 / km)

Dumbarton 10 K 2019 in 46:31. Another good effort on another sunny evening. Pushing hard all the way, but legs left a bit heavy and I couldn't quite match my time at Helensburgh last week. Knees absolutely fine.
